How do I add an image to my Content Studio?

Category Content Studio

Quite often, you might want to reuse the same image a number of times and would not wish to repetitively upload it through the email editor. In such a case, you could make the image accessible through your Image Gallery, otherwise known as the Content Studio.

There are Two following methods to add images into Content Studio.

Upload images from your Computer

  • Log into your Spicesend account.
  • Navigate to the Content Studio.
  • In the Content Studio screen, you will get the option to upload Images, Videos, Documents, and Giphy files. "Images" will be chosen by default.
  • On the top-right corner, you will notice a grey "Upload" button, click on it.
  • In the pop-up menu, navigate to the location where your image is stored.
  • Select the image and click on 'Open'

Import from URL

  • Alternatively, if you wish to import an image through a URL, you could click on the downward arrow next to the Upload button.
  • Select the "Import from URL" option.
  • Enter or paste the URL in the empty field and click on 'Import,' the image will be uploaded to your gallery.

NOTE: Every time you upload an image to the Content Studio, a pop-up menu emerges that shows the uploading status of the image. The uploaded file bears the same name as the original file.

However, once the image is on Content Studio, SpiceSend assigns a special code to the image, which you can copy through the 'Copy URL' option. Now, even if you are to change the name of your image, the URL link that SpiceSend has allocated continues to remain the same.

You can easily sort through the images on the basis of their name, size, and date of creation. Further, you can toggle between List and Thumbnail view. Isn't that just handy?
